A top 10 WordPress theme list is a very subjective list because everyone has their own reasons to prefer one theme over another. I prefer a simple theme with very little DIY features because I am a developer and I like using themes as a base which to develop on top of, so the more DIY features, the harder it is for me to work. Others though, for example those with little or no programming skills, would prefer a DIY theme with as many options as possible. A couple of features I would look out for include a responsive web design and built in SEO support.
